Tallangatta Health Service is seeking applications from suitably experienced Registered Nurses to join or Residential Aged Care team on a fixed term contract in the position of the Bolga Court Coordinator.

Supported by the Nurse Manager and Director of Clinical Operations and Nursing, the Bolga Court Coordinator will provide visible clinical leadership within Bolga Court, supporting residents, families and staff to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, person-centred care.

This role is predominantly floor-based and resident-focused, with responsibility for supporting clinical care coordination, staff mentoring, quality improvement activities, outbreak management, family communication and day-to-day operational support within Bolga Court.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provide visible clinical leadership within Bolga Court.
  • Conduct regular resident and family engagement activities.
  • Support clinical reviews, care planning and resident outcomes.
  • Assist with quality, risk and VHIMS follow-up activities.
  • Support staff mentoring, orientation and professional development.
  • Assist with outbreak management and infection prevention activities.
  • Support operational functions including Optima roster processes when required.

This opportunity is offered as a Fixed term contract period covering:

  • 13th July 2026 to 11th September 2026

Hours/ Days of work:

  • 0.6 EFT up to Full Time (1.0 EFT) by negotiation.
  • Days of work will be negotiated based on service requirements, with preference for Monday and Friday coverage.

Selection Criteria

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum 5 years post-graduate nursing experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and recent experience in providing evidence based and clinically effective aged care.
  • Knowledge of AN-ACC processes or willingness to undertake training
  • A commitment to high quality, safe and person-centered consumer care.
  • Highly developed, professional and efficient problem-solving skills, communication skills and computer literacy.
  • Post-graduate qualification in acute care, aged care, rural health, leadership, acute care or related field (desirable)
