About the role
A Customer Liaison Officer at Tallangatta Health Service acts is a frontline role, providing a single point of entry for all customer interactions related to residential and acute aged care, ensuring a smooth, supportive and professional experience for all.
Reporting to the Corporate Services Manager, the Customer Liaison Officer is responsible for providing high-quality, customer facing services to support residents, families and referred enquiries. Strong administrative and organisation skills will effectively support daily tasks such as managing databases and efficiently tracking and processing customer transactions.
A typical day will see you interacting with a range of internal and external stakeholders, in person, via phone and email as well as maintaining accurate records and archiving. This dynamic role is suited to someone with exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to multitask, prioritise, and work effectively within a team.

This role is offered on a permanent part time basis of 0.4 - 0.6EFT (32-48hours/FN) with days of work being Thursdays and Fridays with additional day(s) by negotiation.

Tallangatta Health Service is a 61 bed, small rural public health service providing a mix of acute, sub-acute, aged care residential, and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. About you
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Well-developed computer skills, including Microsoft suite of products and health specific software such as IPM and Manad.
- Previous experience in an administrative role and thorough understanding of office functions.
- Compassionate and committed to supporting older people and their families.
- Motivated and able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
All appointments are made subject to the required security screening including National Criminal History, NDIS Worker Screening checks and an immunisation status appropriate to the role.
