About the role
This great opportunity will see you working as a Physiotherapist as part of our multi-disciplinary health care team.
Reporting to the Allied Health Team Leader you will effectively coordinate, implement and evaluate physiotherapy services across our community, acute and residential aged care services. This will include conducting clinical assessments, treatments and interventions.
Experience in a hospital or aged care setting would be desirable, but not mandatory. Above all your commitment to providing exceptional care, demonstrated knowledge and an ability to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver consumer focused outcomes will support your success in this position.
The successful candidate will be supported by an experienced Allied Health team, consisting of Physiotherapists, Podiatrist, Occupational Therapist, Dietitian, Social Worker and Allied Health Assistants. This a fixed term, parental leave position of 2 days per week (Friday and Saturday) for a 12 month period, or the end September 2026. Saturday penalty rates payable, where appropriate.

Tallangatta Health Service is a 61 bed, small rural public health service providing a mix of acute, sub-acute, aged care residential, and community services to Tallangatta and the surrounding district. About you
- Passion for supporting consumers to live life to their potential
- Bachelor of Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration
- Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide written and verbal reports and commitment to continuous quality improvement and development.
- Demonstrated industry experience and practical working knowledge of the Allied Health Service, preferably in an Aged Care setting, is desirable but not essential.
