About the Opportunity:
Working within the Kindergarten Programs unit, as a Senior Program Officer you will support the ongoing delivery of State Delivered Kindergarten and the development of improvement initiatives for state funded or delivered kindergarten in unique models. This role presents an opportunity to be creative, make a positive impact and build organisational capability to improve outcomes for Queensland children and families.
You must be able to research and analyse issues, synthesise complex information into clear outputs and develop and maintain stakeholder relationships. The role requires you to use your ability to think creatively, communicate clearly and make informed recommendations to senior and executive management.
About the Role:
As the Senior Program Officer, you will:
- be a strategic thinker;
- have a strong background in one or more of the following – the legislative frameworks applicable to and regulation of early childhood, program management, policy, evaluation, governance, stakeholder management, evaluation, risk management;
- be flexible and agile to work across a number of programs and projects;
- be an exceptional writer and communicator;
- have excellent attention to detail and coordination skills;
- be great at stakeholder engagement and negotiation; and
- be a team player and be innovative and collaborative.
