Department of Education - Project Support Officer, Governance, Strategy and Planning, AO4

This temporary vacancy is available from 22 February 2021 to 30 June 2021, unless otherwise determined.

About the Opportunity:

The Project Support Officer will play an important role within the team to create a culture of project management across the department, and administer the department's online project and program management tool, Enterprise Project Online.

About the Role

Upcoming priorities for the team include:

• building organisational capability in project and program management
• supporting the operational management of Enterprise Project Online
• collecting, consolidating and analysing project portfolio data; and
• supporting corporate planning initiatives such as the department's regular reporting to the Executive Management Board.

What you need to succeed

What we're looking for in our next Project Support Officer:

• strong interest in project and portfolio management
• technically minded and a willingness to learn new systems and processes; and
• great at stakeholder engagement and customer service
• great communicator and problem solver.
