The TAB is one of the largest live broadcasters in NZ broadcasting more than a thousand domestic race meetings annually on our television channels, TAB Trackside 1 and 2. The Trackside Channels broadcast live local and international racing and programme-making, seven days a week on the Sky Television network and also broadcast online.
Our Media and Content team is an essential part of the TAB. We have invested in the latest technology and talent to ensure our broadcast channels in High Definition are a success, the team is housed in a state of the art purpose-built facility in Stanley Street, Auckland. We are looking for a Media Operator to help in the delivery of the broadcasting programming and be a part of our operations team in Auckland.
Whilst a background in a similar field is highly beneficial, you could also be looking to take your first step on the ladder to develop your career within the media industry. Either way, attitude is everything. We are looking for a pro-active self-starter, comfortable in working on your own or as part of a team.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Broadcasting experience within a live Media Exchange environment and a sound understanding of MCR and Presentation operations would be highly beneficial
- An analytical mindset, high attention to detail and a willingness to learn new skills.
- A strong understanding of TAB products would be beneficial
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Great team player

Based on Auckland's city fringe, working on a roster basis over a 7 day period covering between the hours of 7am – 11pm. In this game, working weekends is essential.
