We are currently recruiting for a Retail Assistant to join our upbeat and dedicated team based in New Lynn, Auckland. This is a part-time position working a minimum of 25 hours per week on a rostered basis which includes weekends, nights and public holidays.
About the role
As the face of the business, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. While providing excellent customer service you will quickly and accurately assist in the placing of bets while creating an engaging experience. Cash handling and confidence in your numeric skills are a must with a high volume of cash handling being done on a day to day basis.
Further, you will provide expert product knowledge and advice to our customers and create an atmosphere which highlights the organisation as a fun and welcoming environment.
Hours of work
You will work on a roster basis within the hours of 8am - 12am, Tuesday to Saturday and 8am - 9pm Sunday and Monday. You must be available to work within these open hours across a 7 day period.
Candidates will need to possess:-
- Cash handling or till experience
- Excellent customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Great communications skills
- Flexibility in shifts
- A positive attitude day in day out
- The ability to learn and become a product expert
