Don’t worry, we’ll teach you all the technical stuff, what really matters is your passion for the industry, your positive attitude and your desire to succeed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take a step in to broadcasting, with the opportunity of managing and directing our operational TV crew. If you can manage multiple tasks, understand the racing industry and wagering markets and enjoy the excitement of a race day then this is the role for you.

  • Have a real passion for sport and the racing industry
  • Be decisive and make split-second decisions
  • Display strong organising and leadership skills
  • Possess a high level of interpersonal communication skills
  • Have the ability to multi-task between differing, but equally important tasks
  • Be keen to learn, while previous TV production experience is useful, training will be given

Due to the nature of this role, the hours of work will be set by roster and will vary from week to week. Flexibility with work hours is essential as weekend, public holiday and night shift work will be required.

TAB NZ is committed to upholding the very best in broadcasting quality and as Studio Director you will be the wheels that put this in motion. If you are ready to embrace the challenge, this could be the role for you, so apply now!

To apply, include a copy of your current CV and a cover letter outlining your background and why you believe you will be the best person to join our studio team in this Studio Director role.
