About the role

Sydney Water is excited to be hiring a project lead to assist in a laboratory relocation project! Your role will play a key role in the seamless relocation of our laboratory operations from West Ryde to our new, state-of-the-art facility in North Ryde.

This is a unique opportunity to apply your laboratory expertise in a dynamic project environment

Key Responsibilities:

You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure the successful delivery of the relocation project. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating meetings, capturing minutes, and tracking actions
  • Maintaining project documentation including logs and schedules
  • Supporting site presentations and internal communications
  • Collaborating with the Change team to develop clear transition instructions for staff
  • Assisting with procurement activities related to the relocation
  • Acting as the central point of contact during the transition phase

About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A growth mindset and strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience working in complex commercial laboratory environments
  • Ideally, exposure to the water industry and project-based work
