About the role

We are excited to offer a 12-month parental leave cover opportunity within our Smart Metering Transition team.

This acting role is ideal for a customer-focused professional with a keen interest or experience in digital metering who thrives in a dynamic and detail-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Answer customer queries relating to smart meter requests/ roll out projects.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and stakeholders
  • Prepare and analyse reports on project performance and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Deliver high-quality customer service across all touchpoints
  • Assist business units engaged in smart metering initiatives
  • Identify and implement process improvements, ensuring documentation is up to date
  • Support staff and contractors with operational and administrative tasks

About you:

  • Proven experience in a customer service or contact centre environment
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and communicate data insights
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and administrative tasks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant business software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong time management and organisational abilities
