Role Overview:

The Box Office Services Manager is responsible for leading the Box Office team maintaining an efficient, effective and professional box office to both internal and external customers. The role delivers day-to-day operations and leads the Supervisors and Customer Service Representatives. The role is responsible for the professional, consistent and exemplary level of customer service across the Box Office department. 

This position is a member of the Accessibility Team and works extensively across the organisation to deliver a welcoming experience for all visitors. The Box Office Services Manager works closely with the Guest Services Manager, Ticketing Manager, Ticketing Specialists, and Venue Manager. The job requires a willingness to work flexible hours as required, including evenings and weekends (two Saturdays per month for example).

What We're Looking For:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role, preferably in the Arts, Theatre or Entertainment industry
  • Proven leadership and team management skills in a customer service environment
  • Experience managing in venue Box Office operations
  • Experience of managing and developing contact centre systems (eg AWS) 
  • Strong rostering and scheduling expertise include use of a electronic rostering system (eg Human Force)
  • Calm under pressure with exemplary customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, planning, and budget management skills
  • Experience in using Tessitura or a similar CRM system
