Role Overview:

The primary purpose of the Accounts Payable Officer role is to ensure the efficient and accurate management of all STC accounts payable processes, supporting the organisation’s financial integrity and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.

Working at STC:

This is a permanent part time role working 22.8 hours per week.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the Arts or Not-for-Profit sector, with a proven track record of achieving outcomes and supporting team objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within diverse teams and foster collaborative relationships, actively contributing to a positive team culture and communicating constructively across all levels of seniority within the organisation.
  • Demonstrated digital literacy, including proficiency in accounting systems such as Technology One, as well as advanced skills in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Adaptability and flexibility in managing and prioritising tasks to meet critical deadlines
  • Proven capacity to recognise potential challenges and take proactive steps to devise effective solutions
  • Willingness to undertake ongoing professional development and adapt to new technologies or industry practices
