Located a short walk from Circular Quay train, bus and light rail interchange, among the cobblestone laneways of The Rocks district in a quirky heritage building, you will find the delightful Sydney Harbour Hotel. Offering 176 rooms and a relaxed restaurant and lobby bar, we are located centrally offering a quintessential Sydney experience. 

The Role:

Efficiently auditing the current day trading transactions and ensure that they are properly balanced and posted whilst anticipating and exceeding guest needs immediately as they occur during the night shift. Accurately identify when discrepancies exist within the daily reports and assisting with the required system back-up and maintenance programs and procedures. Ensuring security is upheld throughout the hotel on a nightly basis, including security walks and scanning each checkpoint throughout the hotel.

About You:

Your many talents will include: 

  • A love of crunching numbers and an eye for detail. 
  • Previous Hotel Front Office experience is desirable but not essential. 
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles. 
  • The ability to work with Opera and a general understanding of hotel operations. 
  • A personality to rival any sunrise you will see! 
  • You can balance the requirements of night shifts and are seeking regular shifts across a 7-day Roster.
