Located a short walk from Circular Quay train, bus and light rail interchange, among the cobblestone laneways of The Rocks district in a quirky heritage building, you will find the delightful Sydney Harbour Hotel. Offering 176 rooms and a relaxed restaurant and lobby bar, we are located centrally offering a quintessential Sydney experience. 

Role Purpose:

We are looking for a diligent and team centric Kitchen Steward who can work across mornings and evenings to keep our kitchen sparkly and clean!

Responsibilities:

Skills and experience:

Your talents will include: 

  • Previous experience of efficient cleaning of kitchen premises and equipment to meet the highest of standards
  • The creation and maintenance of a cleaning schedule for the kitchen
  • Familiarity of maintaining food hygiene standards 
  • Passionate to ensure that all access and traffic areas are clear and sparkling clean
  • Respectful of processes and procedures 
  • Ability to work with ambitious chefs to support the kitchen operations 
  • Some experience of assisting with deliveries and stock management
  • You will be an effective communicator who can openly work with all departments of the hotel
  • You will be available across a 7-day roster
