About the Role

As a result of continued growth and strategic transformation, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a General Manager – Network Strategy & Solutions.

Reporting to the Chief Supply Chain and Efficiency Officer, this pivotal, newly created role will shape how our Supply Chain network efficiently services our growth ambitions. This will include standing up new capability in the business, establishing leading practice methods for Supply Chain network design, changing product flows from source to store, introducing appropriate materials handling solutions and leading a disciplined optimisation roadmap to deliver step-change improvements in safety, service promise and cost-to-serve.

Your accountabilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Network Strategy and Design: Lead the development of Super Retail Group’s supply chain strategic roadmap and network masterplan, including omni-fulfilment network design, DC (distribution centre) footprint, transport routes, and product flow capabilities to improve speed to market and respond to changing customer needs.
  • Supply Strategy and Growth: Serve as the subject matter expert in supply chain operations, systems, technology, and facilities (on shore & off shore) to guide the company’s long-term supply chain execution and ability to scale at pace.
  • Supply Chain Optimisation: Identify, prioritise and deliver strategically important improvements across the end-to-end supply chain to streamline fulfilment into stores and customers hands to improve our customer service promise and drive value.
  • Supply Chain Solutions: Bring leading practice thinking and expertise into the business to drive more efficient ways of working enabled by advanced mechanised or digital competency and capability.
  • Strategic Endorsements and Network Decisions: Endorse DC leasing and third-party arrangements required to ensure Supply Chain is sweating assets and able to service the company’s long-term goals.

This role offers the flexibility to be based in either Brisbane (Strathpine) or Sydney (Rhodes).

About you

We are seeking a strategic and commercially astute supply chain leader with a proven track record of designing and optimising complex, large-scale networks from source to customer. You will bring deep expertise in network strategy, modelling & analytics, flow-path design, materials handling solutions, and fulfilment centre design. You will have successfully led the development of multiple large-scale, strategic solutions and seen these transition into accretive value. You will also need to bring expertise in having delivered end-to-end optimisation initiatives across the Supply Chain that have delivered measurable improvements in safety, service and cost-to-serve.

You can tell a compelling story by translating complex data and concepts into clear, impactful narratives that resonate with senior stakeholders and drive aligned decision-making. Highly influential, you build credibility quickly and bring others on the journey, partnering effectively across operations, technology, and commercial teams.

Commercially savvy and outcome-focused, you understand the broader business context and balance cost, service, and growth priorities. While you don’t need to be hands-on with analytics, you have the capability to interpret and challenge data, drawing meaningful insights that inform strategy and execution.

You are solutions-oriented and exceptionally strong in program management—able to structure, prioritise, and deliver a disciplined optimisation roadmap at pace and scale. Energised by transformation, you thrive in dynamic environments and bring a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.

You will be joining a high-performing team with high expectations in an organisation that is keen to accelerate change, whilst also taking people on this change journey.

WHY JOIN US?
