About the Role
Step into the role of a Technical Support Engineer where you'll be the essential front line and face of our Digital & Technology team! Reporting to the Service Operations Manager, this role demands a vast array of technical expertise on SRG platforms and applications. You'll be the go-to person for all SRG Team Members, providing end-to-end technical support and being their primary point of contact.
Imagine yourself delivering prompt, courteous, and friendly technical support through various channels—whether it's over the phone, at a kiosk, via self-service, face-to-face, or any other method. Your mission? To ensure seamless operations and happy team members!
Based at the vibrant Christchurch Macpac Basecamp Support Office, you'll be at the heart of the action. You'll support team members on-site, within the Distribution Center (DC), and across our brands in Australia and New Zealand.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Technical support
- Major incident response
- Application support
- Configuration management
- Asset management
- Systems installation/ decommission
Please note that this role requires some on-call availability. The successful candidate must be willing to respond to urgent issues that may arise outside of regular working hours during scheduled on-call periods.
About you
We're looking for an individual with demonstrated experience as a Technical Support Engineer to bring their expertise and passion to our innovative team.
In addition, you will have:
- Experience with Microsoft Exchange / O365 Hybrid environment, on-boarding/off-boarding, troubleshooting and isolating problems within the environment.
- Working experience with ITIL framework and major incident management,
- Ability to work under pressure with at times conflicting priorities.
- Customer driven, proactive and can work with minimal supervision contributing ideas and suggestions for improvement.
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2003-2016 and Azure AD including core services: AD, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting, Sites/Services, DHCP, File/Print, DFS, Replication and Storage
