This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the future of our pallet operations, delivering a cost-effective, efficient, and sustainable pallet operation across one of Australia’s leading retail groups. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Own the national pallet strategy across inbound, outbound, cross-dock, and returns.
• Strengthen governance and compliance for hire, dehire, and exchange processes to reduce loss and risk.
• Partner with vendors, 3PLs, and pallet providers to drive performance and control costs.
• Embed visibility and accountability in DCs and stores for every pallet’s journey.
• Use data and tech to optimise stock levels, track cycle times, and reduce waste.
• Champion sustainability through recovery, reuse, and recycling initiatives.
• Continuously improve processes to future-proof pallet operations for scale and agility. 

What You’ll Bring: 

• Proven experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain (ideally in retail or FMCG).
• Expertise in pallet systems and compliance (CHEP, Loscam, pooling models).
• Commercial mindset with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across a complex, national network.
• A genuine passion for driving Operational Excellence in Supply Chain Sustainability
