 ABOUT THE ROLE 

An excellent opportunity exists for a Vendor and Supply Specialist, located in Brendale. The purpose of the role is to support the Commercial Vendor & Supply Manager in improving operations services as well as supporting in procuring supplies.

As part of this role, you will be involved in the development of a strategic framework for vendor management within Super Retail Group’s Distribution Centre operations.

The role also involves:

  • Working closely with DC operations and vendors to ensure the best outcome relating to service, costs, coverage, and quality.
  • Reviewing, improve and define DC Operations Procurement processes and activities.
  • Conducting supplier evaluations audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and performance metrics.
  • Developing and maintain supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
  • Collaborating with cross functional teams to identify and resolve procurement queries.

ABOUT YOU

You will bring:

  • Demonstrable experience managing operational expenditure, including budget compliance and variance.
  • Experience working with vendors and procurement processes, including agency labour hire.
  • Experience in running project and initiatives.
  • Ability to build effective relationships (internal/external), along with experience in influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
  • Experience using SAP would be highly regarded.
