We’re looking for a Program Office Manager to lead and coordinate cross-functional activities within our business transformation program. This critical role shapes the blueprint for success, establishing scalable methodologies, frameworks, and best practices that enhance program efficiency and governance.

By implementing standardised best practices and aligning with SRG portfolio methodologies, this pivotal role enhances consistency and accelerates the maturity of programs and projects.

In this role, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Program Governance and Coordination: Develop and maintain program governance frameworks, including risk management and compliance processes.
  • Back-of-House Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program office, including managing schedules, agendas, meeting coordination, and supporting documentation.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare drafts of all program reports and dashboards, coordinating input from project managers, workstream leads, and other key stakeholders.
  • Risk Management: Facilitate program-level risk workshops, ensuring that risks and issues are identified, documented, and effectively mitigated.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships across the program team, project managers, EPMO, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend improvements to program management methodologies and tools to enhance delivery effectiveness.

About you

We are looking for an adaptable and proactive individual, thriving in a fast-paced transformation environment where agility is key. You are highly collaborative and excel in navigating complex matrix structures. With a solutions-focused approach and a continuous improvement mindset, you consistently seek opportunities to optimise processes, enhance efficiency, and drive strategic success.

In addition, you have:

  • Demonstrated experience in program office management or large-scale program management/transformation management preferably in organisations with low and high maturities.
  • Experience in supporting technology-driven transformation or complex, multi-stream projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels. 
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentations.
  • Familiarity with program governance frameworks, risk management, and reporting tools.
  • The ability to understand the need to develop the tools and artefacts (supported by the EPMO) for Program management at SRG.

Tools & Systems:

  • Proficiency in scheduling tools (MS Project, Jira)
  • MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience working with PMO or PPM tools (e.g., Altus)
