ABOUT THE ROLE 

Join Super Retail Group and be the orchestrator of financial harmony! As our Accounts Receivable Officer, you'll be at the forefront of extending credit to deserving trade customers, transforming transactions into a seamless blend of commerce and customer satisfaction.

The role is responsible for the following:

Accounts Receivable:

  • Conduct daily receivable activities and communications, prioritizing risk in line with established processes.
  • Maintain and reconcile credit account balances accurately, ensuring daily application of payments to the correct customer accounts.
  • Process credit applications, perform credit checks, and promptly enter new customer applications into SAP.
  • Monitor customer accounts, follow up on overdue balances, and manage the accounts receivable inbox with timely responses.

Debt Management

  • Regularly assess and report on the debt position, addressing discrepancies and implementing prescribed debt management practices.
  • Analyze and rectify discrepancies in customer accounts, proactively resolving issues with other teams.
  • Monitor customer accounts for potential referral to debt collection agencies or write-offs.
  • Provide monthly reporting of aged debt balances, including Rebates receivable, and detail actions taken to collect outstanding debts. 


ABOUT YOU 

Meticulously, you'll keep customer accounts up-to-date and reconcile them with precision, ensuring the financial rhythm aligns within agreed timeframes. Your role extends beyond numbers – you'll be the troubleshooter, resolving disputes and conducting the symphony of overdue debt collection.

Your attention to detail is not just a skill but a way of life. In this role, meticulousness matters. Your keen eye for accuracy will shine as you navigate the intricacies of daily receivable activities, ensuring flawless transactions and effective communications with debtors.

But that's not all – you'll also be the unsung hero, providing vital support to our Trade and Commercial teams and store network, navigating the complexities of accounts receivable administration inquiries.
