We’re looking for a Research & Insights Lead to own the design, execution, and delivery of strategic research programs — from brand tracking and segmentation to voice of customer and brand strategy initiatives.
In this 6-month contract opportunity you’ll play a critical role in bringing the customer to life across the business — influencing brand, marketing, and commercial decisions. This is a hands-on contract role, with a strong possibility for extension and progression, for someone who can combine strategic thinking with research rigour, delivering insights that drive action.
What you’ll do
- Lead end-to-end research programs — from scoping to storytelling — across brand tracking, segmentation, and strategic customer studies.
- Be the in-house expert on research design and methodologies, working alongside our data scientists and analysts.
- Translate data into commercial opportunities and strategic recommendations that shape brand and go-to-market plans.
- Oversee and elevate the brand tracking program across multiple brands, integrating findings with market share and marketing mix data.
- Manage agency partners and internal stakeholders, ensuring insights are robust, actionable, and timely.
About you
You’re a curious, analytical, and commercially minded insights professional who thrives on turning meaningful data into insights and strategy.
You’ll bring:
- 4+ years’ experience as a quantitative research practitioner, ideally within a research agency or consultancy.
- Hands-on brand tracking expertise and familiarity with embedding large-scale strategic research programs, such as segmentation or voice of customer studies, into business decision-making.
- Experience consulting into clients or internal stakeholders, advising on how best to leverage research for maximum impact.
- Confidence managing complex research projects, agencies, and multiple stakeholder relationships across a business.
- Experience working with retail, leisure, telco, financial services and/or FMCG clients is a plus
