ABOUT THE ROLE 

We have an excellent opportunity for a Transport Coordinator based at our Brendale office in Brisbane. The successful candidate will act as a conduit between business and transport suppliers, providing guidance and direction to transport suppliers, drivers, the distribution centre and store teams in the execution of multi-mode transport movements for brands and business.

The key responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Domestic transport scheduling and supply against network plan and local operations.
  • Supports delivery to the Transport KPI’s, working directly between DC’s and Transport suppliers.
  • Support business improvement activities within Domestic Transport, ensuring relevant KPI’s are achieved.

The successful candidate will bring the following experience and skills to the role:

  • Previous transport operations experience
  • Multi-mode experience. (Rail, road all freight formats)
  • General understanding of supply and transport planning.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of legislation and regulations.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
