About the Role: As an experienced Payroll Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery while driving continuous improvement across payroll operations. This is an opportunity to apply your payroll expertise within a trusted organisation, working alongside a high-performing team to support the full employee lifecycle and contribute to streamlined, compliant processes.

What you'll be doing...

• Payroll Processing – Support pay run activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Employee Lifecycle Support – Assist with onboarding, terminations, and employee changes.
• Payroll Reporting – Download key documents and review payroll reports ahead of processing.
• Process Enhancement – Help identify and implement improvements to payroll workflows.
• Team & Employee Support – Answer payroll queries and support internal teams where needed.

What you bring...

• Experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of Australian payroll, superannuation requirements and modern awards or enterprise agreements.
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
• Confident communicator with a strong customer service mindset.
• Comfortable working independently and in a team setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel in particular).

Nice to Have:

• Previous experience in a retail or multi-site business.
• Qualification in Business, Finance, or HR (advantageous but not essential).
