ABOUT THE ROLE 

We have an opportunity for a skilled and safety focused DC Team Leader(s) for our Marshall Court Distribution Centre.

The successful candidate will, provide supervision of, and participate in, assigned operational tasks within the Distribution Centre, ensuring that both individual and team requirements are achieved in a safe manner, within process standards and to expected performance levels.

The Distribution Centre Team Leader is accountable for understanding the required tasks, processes and units of measure for each functional area of the Distribution Centre, as well as the requirements of all relevant company policies and procedures in performing the work required.

Reporting to the Department Team Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring that our team is always safe.
  • Ensure Team Members are following relevant processes and procedures.
  • Maintain open, effective communication channels with team members and stakeholders both within and external to the Distribution Centre.
  • Work effectively and collaboratively with other Team Members to support the achievement of team goals.
  • Training and developing team members to improve their skills and performance.
  • Coordinating your team’s daily activities.

ABOUT YOU

You will have proven experience in Warehousing, Logistics, or a Distribution Centre background with a strong consistent safety focus mindset.

  • Experience in a similar Team leader role would be preferred.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
