What You’ll Be Doing…As a People Advisor, you’ll be the go-to person for HR operational advice and everyday people challenges. Your impact will be felt across:
- Providing practical, consistent HR advice to leaders and team members on people matters like performance, policy, and compliance
- Triaging and supporting workplace issues, working closely with our Workplace Relations team when needed
- Supporting HR cyclical activities and helping operationalise key People & Safety initiatives
- Creating and maintaining clear, helpful resources such as toolkits, leader guides, and process documents
- Coaching leaders to build their capability and confidence in managing their teams
- Championing the use of our systems and platforms to deliver seamless experiences
- Ensuring quality data governance and compliance across documentation and employee records
What You’ll Bring…We’re looking for a confident communicator and trusted advisor who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You’ll be great in this role if you have:
- Solid HR Foundations: Experience in a generalist HR role (around 3+ years ideal)
- Legislation Savvy: Strong working knowledge of employment legislation across AU and NZ
- Relationship Builder: Ability to build strong working relationships with leaders at all levels
- Trusted Coach & Advisor: Skilled in coaching, conflict resolution, and navigating sensitive people matters
- Self-Starter & Team Player: Strong initiative and confidence to work both autonomously and in a team
- Detail-Oriented Thinker: Excellent attention to detail, documentation skills, and a process improvement mindset
- Tech & Tools Enthusiast: Familiarity with HR systems and a love for driving capability through practical tools and guides
- Qualified & Curious: Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or related field (desired)
