Senior Leasing Manager | Shape Macpac's Future Through Strategic Property LeadershipHybrid

About the Role…. You’ll help shape Macpac retail network across ANZ, leading strategic planning and delivery across new stores, optimisations and leases along with supporting our DC’s and Support Offices. Partnering closely with operations, finance and external stakeholders, you’ll bring strong commercial insight to build a high-performing store network.

What you’ll be doing…

• Strategic Network Planning - Develop and deliver strategic network plans across renewals, new stores, relocations and closures, aligned to broader business objectives.
• Network Delivery & Site Execution - Lead end-to-end site delivery, including evaluating opportunities, negotiating leases, optimising the existing network and ensuring compliance with all lease obligations.
• Financial Management - Manage lease portfolio budgets, forecasting and feasibility modelling, tracking performance, CAPEX/OPEX and key commercial metrics.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management - Build trusted relationships with landlords, developers and internal teams while coaching Leasing Managers and representing Macpac in key negotiations and forums.
• Risk & Compliance - Proactively manage risk and ensure all leasing activities comply with legislation, procurement standards and company policies. 

What You’ll Bring…You have 10+ years of proven performance in retail property—the real currency in this industry. Whether from the landlord or tenant side, you bring:

• Adventure-Driven Property Leader – A genuine passion for the outdoors and the Macpac brand, combined with a strong understanding of leasing as a relationship-driven discipline. Brings energy, curiosity and commercial expertise to create and optimise property networks that support growth, inspire exploration and connect customers with outdoor adventures.
• Build Strong Partnerships: Influencing Landlords & Stakeholders with ability to leverage an established network and the confidence to engage, influence and negotiate with major landlords and senior stakeholders to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Across Every Field: Shopping Centres to Large-Format Retail - Proven experience navigating both Shopping Centre and Large-Format environments, with the commercial acumen and adaptability to manage complexity and drive results across diverse retail formats.
• Deal Maker Mindset: Securing the Right Opportunities - Demonstrated track record of identifying, unlocking and securing high-value opportunities—ensuring every deal lands on the right commercial terms to support Macpac's growth ambitions.
• Commercial Explorer: Data-Driven & Results-Focused – Combines strong financial acumen, analytical thinking and negotiation expertise to make informed property decisions. Uses data and market insights to optimise portfolio performance, unlock growth opportunities and deliver sustainable commercial outcomes that support Macpac’s long-term success.
• Adventure-Ready: Execution Excellence – Highly organised and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple property projects across diverse locations and timelines. Delivers high-quality outcomes with strong attention to detail, balancing strategic priorities and operational execution to support Macpac’s growth and evolving network.
