About the Role

Join us as an Operations Excellence Specialist, where you’ll lead initiatives that transform our operations and deliver tangible improvements across safety, cost, productivity, and service. This is a key role focused on embedding a culture of continuous improvement across our Distribution Centre (DC) operations and wider Supply Chain.
Reporting to the DC Manager at our Brandale DC, you will play a key role in driving the success of the supply chain function by delivering cost‑reduction and continuous improvement initiatives that support our commitment to improvement. This includes evaluating external best practices, benchmarking performance, and identifying opportunities to introduce new technologies and innovative solutions across Super Retail Group.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Delivering key milestones of the Supply Chain strategy & identifying further opportunities that will drive operational excellence.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to re-engineer business processes towards a LEAN structure that is consistent across the network.
- Contributing to identifying training standards priorities to support operational standards across DC Operations.
- Defining target service standards for the operation and identifying improvements to deliver to standards.
- Key lead on implementation and identification of operating model changes to support efficiencies.
About you
We are seeking a results‑driven operations professional with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence. You thrive in fast‑paced environments and bring a strong ability to identify opportunities, drive change, and deliver measurable outcomes.
In addition, you have:
- Experience working in a similar role or capacity within DC operations, supply chain, or logistics environments
- A demonstrated experience in leading and supporting change initiatives
- A strong track record of delivering continuous improvement initiatives, with proven experience in root cause analysis to identify issues and implement sustainable solutions
- Well‑developed stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence across all levels
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into clear, actionable outcomes
- Certification in Lean / Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Essential)
