About the role
Due to our continuous growth, we are seeking a System Engineer to contribute to the implementation of upgrades for business-critical systems and to deliver our future supply chain technology roadmap. This role will be highly involved in managing the systems responsible for executing the physical logistics aspects of International Shipping, Distribution Centre Storage and Handling, together with Transport to Store.
Reporting to the Head of Merch & Supply Chain Technology, you will analyse and define system requirements, focusing on improvements and fixing defects to enhance business efficiency. Additionally, you will oversee the full application management lifecycle, including monitoring system performance to optimise software functionality.
This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine), Sydney (Rhodes), or Melbourne (Truganina), with a hybrid work arrangement that includes at least one onsite day per week.

About you
We are looking for an individual with a customer centric mindset and the ability to understand issues, consult and advise on solutions consistent to design and security standards. You will have great communication skills to manage expectations, gain agreement and resolve conflicts.
The successful candidate will bring the following experience and skills to the role:
- Demonstrated experience in technical software management, with experience in implementing and testing new versions of system software.
- Self-starter attitude with the initiative to learn new systems and willingness to collaborate with team members.
- Proficiency or willingness to learn management of complex systems, processes and system configuration.
- Experience in problem and incident management, monitoring service delivery performance metrics.
- A Tertiary Qualification in the field of IT, computer science, business, or something similar, as well as a certification in ITIL, are preferred but not essential.
- Experience with supply chain IT systems and the related business-technology challenges.
- Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) is highly desirable.
Please note that this role requires some on-call availability. The successful candidate must be willing to respond to urgent issues that may arise outside of regular working hours during scheduled on-call periods.
