Are you a strategic retail planning expert with a passion for leading high-performing teams? We're on the hunt for a Business Manager – Merchandise Planning to lead our Merchandise Inventory & Planning team. You’ll play a key leadership role within our soft goods business unit, aligning inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies to supercharge sales, gross margin, and stock efficiency. 

 Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage multimillion-dollar stock turn, P&L, and working capital. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, eCommerce and trade partners 
  • Create and drive seasonal financial plans to meet and exceed BU targets. 
  • Oversee sales, margin, and inventory performance — keeping your finger on the pulse of the business. 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of planning professionals — keeping engagement and capability sky high. 

What we are looking for

  • Strategic smarts: Demonstrated ability to develop and execute merchandise planning strategies that drive commercial results. 
  • System expertise: Strong hands-on experience with merchandise planning systems, forecasting and replenishment tools (e.g. JDA, SAP, BW), and advanced Excel proficiency. 
  • Category planning acumen: Skilled in planning for complex merchandise dynamics including size curves and seasonality across various product categories. 
  • Financial fluency: Confident managing multi-million-dollar stock positions, optimizing stock turn, and driving P&L outcomes. 
  • Analytical excellence: Capable of interpreting large datasets to extract insights and drive business decisions.  
  • Collaborative style: Exceptional communicator and cross-functional collaborator who builds strong partnerships at all levels of the business.
