About the role

We have an excellent opportunity for a Network Inventory Manager, who is responsible for the design and implementation of inventory control processes for all products within the Super Retail Group Distribution Centre network, driving key measures of accuracy and quality.

This role forms the key governance requirements around stock loss and accuracy/control improvement measures, ensuring viable standards are maintained throughout the network.

Additionally, you will be responsible for third-party warehousing/logistics management and inventory control. Working in collaboration with other Supply Chain centres including; technology, operations, and planning.

As part of this role, you will be primarily based in Melbourne, but you will also be expected to travel to our Distribution Centres throughout Australia on a quarterly basis.

About you                                                        

The successful candidate will bring the following experience and skills to the role:

  • Knowledge of Inventory Management practices, preferably in both warehousing and distribution centers.
  • Experience in project management and delivery.
  • Experience leading an operational team.
  • The ability to build effective relationships (internal/external), along with experience of influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders.
