About the Role
Are you ready to make a real impact at a strategic level? As the Commercial Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial and operational strategies within our dynamic Supply Chain division. This is more than just a numbers game—it's an opportunity to drive value within the fast-paced world of retail.
Reporting to the General Manager Commercial – Supply Chain, you'll act as a trusted advisor to key business stakeholders, providing them with actionable insights and sophisticated analysis that go beyond the spreadsheets.
Your key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Providing analysis and reporting of critical financial measures and performance indicators, transforming raw data into strategic business value.
- Supporting budget planning and development processes, playing a key role in aligning resources with corporate objectives.
- Delivering insightful and regular forecasts, empowering leadership to make informed, agile decisions.
- Partnering with business leaders to providing deep analysis and meaningful insights into performance drivers, enabling continuous improvement and sustainable growth.

This role is ideally based in Strathpine (Brisbane) with a hybrid work model, but we also welcome applications from candidates located in Sydney (Rhodes office location).
About you
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a Commercial Analyst capacity within Supply Chain area with strong skills in financial analysis & insights development
- Ability to translate financial data into clear and meaningful insights
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite particularly with Excel
- Financial modelling and financial / budget management skills
- Tertiary Qualification in Finance/Accounting/Business and working towards or have completed CPA, ACA or CIMA (desirable)
- Experience working in the retail sector is desirable but not required.
Your highly developed communication and stakeholder engagement skills as well as strong customer focus will be key to this role.
