About the Role… You’ll lead the strategic growth and optimisation of the rebel store network across ANZ. From new site delivery to major lease negotiations, you’ll bring strong retail insight, commercial capability and a highly collaborative approach. This role blends strategy, property and operations—ideal for a confident property leader who thrives working cross-functionally and delivering outcomes as part of a team. 

What you’ll be doing…

  • Strategic Network Planning - Develop and deliver strategic network plans across renewals, new stores, relocations and closures, aligned to broader business objectives.
  • Network Delivery & Site Execution - Lead end-to-end site delivery, including evaluating opportunities, negotiating leases, optimising the existing network and ensuring compliance with all lease obligations.
  • Financial Management - Manage lease portfolio budgets, forecasting and feasibility modelling, tracking performance, CAPEX/OPEX and key commercial metrics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Relationship Management - Build trusted relationships with landlords, developers and internal teams while coaching Leasing Managers and representing rebel in key negotiations and forums.
  • Risk & Compliance - Proactively manage risk and ensure all leasing activities comply with legislation, procurement standards and company policies. 

What You’ll Bring…You have 10+ years of proven performance in retail property—the real currency in this industry. Whether from the landlord or tenant side, you bring:

  • Across Every Field: Shopping Centres to Large-Format Retail - Proven experience navigating both Shopping Centre and Large-Format environments, with the commercial acumen and adaptability to manage complexity and drive results across diverse retail formats.
  • Deal Maker Mindset: Securing the Right Opportunities - Demonstrated track record of identifying, unlocking and securing high-value opportunities—ensuring every deal lands on the right commercial terms to support rebel’s growth ambitions.
  • Commercial Athlete: Data-Driven & Results-Focused - Strong financial, analytical and negotiation skills, using insights to inform decisions, optimise performance and maximise return on investment.
  • Game Day Ready: Execution Excellence - Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at pace, delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining attention to detail and timelines.
  • Leading from the Front: Influential Communicator - A confident and engaging communicator who builds trust quickly and influences at all levels, from internal teams to executive stakeholders.
