The talent of our teams and their passion for providing an experience which inspires and enhances our customers’ leisure time drives our culture of innovation and opportunity.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader to head our Central Operations function across the Supply Chain network. In this pivotal role, you will drive performance, consistency, and strategic alignment across the Logistics function, ensuring initiatives deliver measurable improvements in safety, service, cost, and productivity.

Reporting to the GM - DC Operations and Network Strategy, you’ll be accountable for shaping and delivering a national Operational Excellence program, governing operational standards, and leading a best-in-class logistics learning and development framework. With oversight of both the Learning & Development team and the National Operations Excellence team, you will ensure priorities are clear, execution is effective, and outcomes are embedded across the network.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Developing and executing the Supply Chain operations excellence strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Establishing and governing network-wide operational standards, processes and frameworks.
  • Driving performance improvement across safety, service, cost and productivity metrics.
  • Ensuring safety remains a core priority across all logistics operational excellence activities.
  • Contributing to the development and delivery of Supply Chain budgets and plans.

This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine, preferred location), Sydney (Rhodes), or Melbourne (Truganina).

About you

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven leader with a proven ability to drive operational excellence across complex supply chain environments.

You excel at leading and developing high-performing teams, as well as the ability to influence, engage, and align stakeholders at all levels to ensure initiatives are effectively prioritised, implemented, and embedded across the network.

A strong change leader, you are experienced in driving transformation at scale—bringing people on the journey, overcoming resistance, and embedding sustainable ways of working. You communicate with clarity, build trust quickly, and create momentum to ensure change initiatives deliver lasting impact.

In addition, you bring:

  • Proven operational success across Supply Chain and Logistics, with a strong focus on Operational Excellence (e.g. Lean, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma) and/or Learning & Development
  • Demonstrated experience embedding strong safety standards and sustainable practices across operations
  • Strong commercial acumen, including revenue and expense management, supported by effective presentation, time management, and organisational capability

WHY JOIN US?

  • You’ll get to join for an organisation with a culture that is driven by innovation and creating awesome experiences for our customers and teams, and will get to work alongside a diverse team across Super Retail Group that is representative of the communities we work in.
  • Super Retail Group is a Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation holder.
  • We are committed to your professional development and will support on-going opportunities for both learning and progression.
  • You will get access to generous discounts across all Super Retail Group brands, as well as access to our Perks Programme, including discounts on Health and Wellbeing, Entertainment, Travel and Accommodation and more.
