About the Role: We’re growing and looking for a Commercial Analyst to join our Financial Planning & Analytics team at Strathpine. Whether you're advancing your career or transitioning from a Big 4 firm, this is your chance to make a real impact in a dynamic environment.

Reporting to a Commercial Manager, you’ll deliver commercial analysis and reporting across our Sustainability Program and Property portfolio. Your work will span various Group functions, offering variety, challenge, and real influence.

What You’ll Be Doing

You'll be a critical partner, providing sharp commercial insights and data-driven support across our Sustainability Program and Property operations. You’ll get to:

  • Commercial Analysis Support: Deliver high-quality commercial analytical support to key business units, primarily focusing on Sustainability and Property initiatives.
  • Data Interpretation for Strategic Planning: Analyse and interpret complex financial data to inform budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic decision-making.
  • Performance Forecasting and Insights: Produce regular forecasts and provide actionable insights into key business performance drivers.
  • Business Partnering: Collaborate with business leaders to monitor progress against budgets and forecasts, and drive performance improvements.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven Commercial Analyst Experience: Strong background in financial analysis, insights development, and commercial support.
  • Data Storytelling Skills: Ability to transform complex data sets into clear, compelling insights that inform business decisions.
  • Advanced Technical Skills: Expertise in Microsoft Excel and strong proficiency across the broader Microsoft Office suite.
  • Financial Modelling Expertise: Solid experience in building financial models and managing financial planning and budgeting processes.
  • Relevant Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or Business; CPA, ACA, or CIMA certifications (completed or in progress) highly regarded.
  • Industry Knowledge: Retail industry experience and/or exposure to Sustainability and Property reporting considered an advantage — but not essential.
