Super Retail Group is the proud owner of four iconic brands: Supercheap Auto, rebel, BCF and Macpac, and is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest retailers. The talent of our teams and their passion for providing an experience which inspires and enhances our customers’ leisure time drives our culture of innovation and opportunity.

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Distribution Centre (DC) leader to drive operational excellence across our Distribution Centre network. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing the DC strategy, delivering exceptional service outcomes, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a strong safety-first culture. Leading high-performing teams, you will ensure every team member understands their contribution to the broader business objectives while championing continuous improvement, governance, and operational discipline.

Beyond DC operations, you will own end-to-end network inventory management, driving inventory accuracy, control, compliance, and slotting optimisation across the network. This is a unique opportunity to influence enterprise-wide supply chain performance, build capability, and support the delivery of outstanding outcomes for our stores and customers.

Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Driving safety leadership, governance, and operational management across the DC network, ensuring all DCs and associated facilities maintain the highest safety standards and remain compliant with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry expectations.
  • Owning the enterprise-wide inventory strategy across the DC network, delivering high levels of inventory accuracy, integrity, availability, and control.
  • Leading overall DC performance and productivity, ensuring operational outcomes consistently meet or exceed agreed service, cost, efficiency, and performance targets.
  • Fostering a high-performance culture across the DC network that reflects the company's Values and DC Ways of Working, promoting accountability, engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.

This role offers the flexibility to be based in Brisbane (Strathpine), Sydney (Rhodes), or Melbourne (Truganina).

About you

We are seeking a supply chain leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and delivering operational excellence. You bring extensive experience leading large-scale Distribution Centre operations within complex, fast-paced environments, ideally within retail, FMCG, or complex multi-SKU environments, and have a strong track record of improving safety, service, productivity, and cost performance.

You are highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, change leadership, and continuous improvement, with the ability to build strong relationships and influence across all levels of the organisation.

Most importantly, you're a people leader who develops capability, fosters accountability, and creates a culture where teams feel empowered to perform at their best every day.

In addition, you bring:

  • Proven experience in strategy development and execution
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated success in financial management, budgeting, and cost optimisation within large-scale operations
  • Proven capability in leading large-scale projects and transformation programs, consistently delivering outcomes on time, within budget, and aligned to business objectives.
  • Experience managing complex omnichannel fulfilment operations, including direct-to-customer distribution and store replenishment networks
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, governance, inventory accuracy, and network optimisation within a complex supply chain environment

WHY JOIN US?

  • You’ll get to join for an organisation with a culture that is driven by innovation and creating awesome experiences for our customers and teams, and will get to work alongside a diverse team across Super Retail Group that is representative of the communities we work in.
  • Super Retail Group is a Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation holder.
  • We are committed to your professional development and will support on-going opportunities for both learning and progression.
  • You will get access to generous discounts across all Super Retail Group brands, as well as access to our Perks Programme, including discounts on Health and Wellbeing, Entertainment, Travel and Accommodation and more.
