We’re looking for a commercially sharp Pricing & Promotion Manager to step into this parental leave cover role and help maximise value, profitability and customer impact across our Trade business.
This is a highly analytical role at the heart of commercial decision-making, ideal for someone who thrives on turning data, financial models and insights into compelling pricing and promotional strategies.
What you’ll be doing
- Drive trade sales and gross profit performance through rigorous financial analysis, pricing optimisation and promotion effectiveness modelling.
- Plan and execute trade promotions that maximise sales, units and margin, underpinned by strong forecasting, scenario modelling and cross-functional collaboration.
- Lead competitor and customer analysis and pricing recommendations to optimise revenue and margin, ensuring tailored trade pricing remains competitive and financially sound.
- Partner with internal teams and trade partners to communicate insights, financial outcomes and opportunities that enhance cross-channel and divisional performance.
- Ensure pricing, promotions and marketing data are accurate, financially validated and fully compliant with ACL requirements, supporting disciplined execution and ACCC sign-off while minimising risk.
What you’ll bring
- Proven strength in financial analysis, modelling and commercial insight
- Highly developed analytical capability with the confidence to influence decisions
- Experience in pricing, promotions, category or commercial roles (Assistant Category Manager or similar)
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills across internal and external partners
- A customer-centric mindset with a sharp eye for margin, compliance and executional excellence
