The Manukau City store is a fast‑moving, customer‑focused environment where leadership presence matters. As one of two Assistant Store Managers, and working closely with the Store Manager, this role offers the chance to continue building your leadership capability while supporting the team on the shop floor, running shifts, and taking ownership of key back‑of‑house operations including inventory, stock flow and accurate stock files—contributing to a well‑organised, safe and high‑performing store.

As an Assistant Store Manager, you're key in supporting the Store Manager to help your store reach its full sales potential, operate smoothly, and create a positive, engaging work environment. To thrive here, you should ideally have: 

  • Retail management or leadership experience preferred, however we’re also open to leaders from customer‑centric environments with strong people leadership capability and knowledge of best practice back of house operations
  • A lead‑by‑example leadership style, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a passionate, high‑performing team
  • A strong customer‑first mindset, consistently delivering safe, engaging and first‑class in‑store experiences
  • Eager to learn all aspects of automotive retail, you bring the Super, we’ll deliver the Auto.  
  • Operational know-how in visual merchandising, stock control, loss prevention, and performance reporting.  
  • Commitment to safety, ensuring compliance with WHS programs and a safe work environment.
