Vets North have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Small Animal Vet to join the team. If you are passionate about helping animals & your community and are looking for career advancement in a progressive practice with all the toys then this may be the role for 2020!

Vets North operate clinics in Kumeu, Waimauku, Helensville & Silverdale with a loyal & growing client base. We employ 15 vets and are focused on building strong teams and ensuring staff are valued & enjoy their work environment. Our team is passionate about helping animals & our community.

We offer an extensive range of services & have all the up to date equipment you could need including:

  • Endoscopy
  • LigaSure
  • Arthroscopy
  • Digital DR radiography

For the more challenging cases, we work closely with a consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon & Ultra Sonographer. Our clinics are equiped with all the best technology and equipment.

This role is full time, however no after hours work is required - you will contribute to the Saturday roster with a Day in Lieu given for weekend work to balance work & life.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Good range of surgical skills & knowledge
  • High standard & quality of care
  • Confident, calm style who easily forms relationships with colleagues, clients & their pets
  • Minimum 5yrs experience
  • Great attitude and personality plus
  • Strong team work ability and genuine desire to lead our teams
