About the service:
The Wollongong Mental Health Hub is a brand-new community mental health and wellbeing service, providing community outreach and in HUB supports. We are open to everyone in the community for mental health support. Participants can access a range of community mental health support services; clinical mental health services; care coordination and Peer supports.

Role overview:
- Deliver focused therapeutic supports tailored to meet the needs of individuals accessing services within a community-based mental health care setting.
- Provision and documentation of mental health assessments, including completion of mental state examination, case formulations, treatment planning and mandatory reporting as required.
- Consultation, liaison and linkage with internal and external service systems to provide a full range of tailored interventions.
- Active participation within the multi-disciplinary team, the profession specific network and with consumers, families and extended agencies.
- Participation in regular clinical and operational supervision, professional development and commitment to the continued development of clinical skills and evidence based best practice.
Requirements:
- Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as a General or Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist OR AASW registration as a Social Worker OR full ACA membership as a degree qualified Counsellor OR full ANZACATA membership as an Art Therapist
- Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality assessment and evidence-based psychological and psychosocial interventions, within a stress-vulnerability and recovery framework, applying trauma-informed practices
- Demonstrated ability to collaboratively plan and coordinate individualised interventions to meet the needs of people with a mental health condition based on a case formulation approach
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills in relation to clients, clinical and non-clinical staff and stakeholders
- Ability to cope with organisational change
- Awareness of relevant legislation/policies and issues informing health and other services for people experiencing mental illness
- Demonstrated capacity to be innovative in clinical approaches
- Experience in providing DBT informed interventions and trauma informed interventions would be well regarded
- Technology literate – ability to use Microsoft Office Suite, Mastercare, other Client Management Systems (CMS) and related technology systems
- Ability to maintain and develop the culture, philosophy, standards, guidelines and policies of Stride and the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
- Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
