Role Purpose:
As our Senior Graphic Designer, you’ll lead the design and delivery of compelling visual communications across print, digital and environmental platforms. As part of the Marketing team, you’ll work closely with the Marketing and Fundraising Manager and key stakeholders across the organisation.
You will be a brand guardian for Stride and our managed service brands, ensuring everything we produce is on-brand, high quality and designed to engage the diverse audiences we serve.
This is a hands-on senior role. You’ll be producing work yourself while also providing creative direction and design guidance to others throughout the organisation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain brand visual identity of several brands across print and digital platforms, including websites, intranet and social media.
- Lead the development and execution of high-quality visual communications.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines for Stride and various managed service brands
- Collaborate with service and engagement teams to create compelling graphic design elements including presentations, infographics, flyers, newsletters, annual report, conference materials, digital content, EDMs and signage.
- Support the development of tender documents and business development materials.
- Provide creative leadership for digital initiatives including website, social media and content improvements.
- Create and manage templates and design suites in Canva or similar platforms.
- Provide outstanding customer service and foster strong relationships with all stakeholders including staff and our marketing partners.
- Collaborate with external marketing agencies, providing feedback to ensure brand alignment.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communications or marketing design, backed by a strong portfolio
Essential skills
- Demonstrated experience delivering creative solutions across print, digital, social media, built environments and websites.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro
- Experience maintaining brand identities across complex organisations or multi-brand environments
- Experience designing digital content including social media assets, web graphics and EDMs using Wordpress and Mailchimp
- Strong conceptual and visual storytelling skills with the ability to make complex information clear and engaging
- Exceptional attention to detail with a keen eye for design, layout and typography
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams
- Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card
- Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
Desirable
- Experience in health, community services, government or not-for-profit sectors
- Understanding of UX design principles
- Motion graphics or video editing experience
- Experience managing creative agencies or external suppliers
- Knowledge of AI and interest in how it can be harnessed responsibly for design purposes.
