Job Description

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the medical device industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Technical Sales Representative to their team. Responsibilities include:

1) Perform cold calls and maintenance of the CRM database

2) Drive sales growth of instrumentation and consumable products

3) Communicate with prospective and existing customers on all products and services offered, emphasize product features and benefits to produce increased sales

4) Maintain qualified leads and forward consumable opportunities to inside sales

5) Submit and follow up on monthly advertisements and maintain sales campaigns

6) Provide customers with detailed marketing material related to product requests bill

7) Capture accurate and complete information to maintain, enter and update sales and lead information in the Maximizer CRM database system

8) Initiate prompt email follow-ups from trade shows leads

9) Understand the needs and expectations of the customers, present key features and advantages of the company products and provide relevant solutions or alternatives in their preferred choice of products to secure new business

10) Communicate the methods of using products and resolve customer inquiries

11) Analyze the choices and financial capacities of every customer and suggest suitable products

12) Close sales deals and achieve customer satisfaction to retain customers for future purchases

13) Attend sales meetings concerning sales targets, forecasts and marketing campaigns

14) Schedule in-house and customer site demos and must be able to move and transport demonstration equipment

15) Perform installation and training on solid instrumentation which may require assembly

16) Maintain outstanding professional relationships with other staff members, customers, industry contacts and vendors necessary in the best interest of the company and in conformity with objectives and policy

17) Perform routine service visits and assist the Service Department with troubleshooting of customer issues

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in sales
