Overview: Jecho Laboratories, Inc. (Jecho) is a biopharmaceutical company developing innovative therapeutic biologics, including therapeutic monoclonal antibodies, cytokines, immunotoxins, and vaccines to treat a broad range of diseases with focusing on cancer and infectious diseases. The company headquarter is located in Frederick Maryland, USA. We are seeking a candidate with an MD, MBBS (or equivalent degree) for the position of CMO of Global Clinical Development at Jecho Laboratories, Inc. The position will be primarily responsible for developing, lead, and drive the clinical development strategy and execution of all Jecho’s global clinical assets. The candidate will also participate Regulatory Affairs strategy decision and interactions for product advancement. This position will report to the CEO of the company. Essential Job Functions: • Responsible for implementing the global clinical development strategy and medical overseeing the operational execution of Jecho’s pipeline product candidates. • Selecting, directing and overseeing human clinical trials by CROs through phases I-III for candidates in development; Meeting all clinical milestones. • Utilizing deep knowledge of medical sciences and clinical trials with innovative drugs on functions including but not limited to conducting clinical planning and executing, protocol designing, medical writing, clinical study data interpretation and safety review, personnel training, and reviewing/editing clinical reports. • Participating in medical review of adverse event reports and monitoring of incoming safety data in conjunction with product safety/pharmacovigilance, including evaluating and escalating safety signals. • Participating in business development, product assessment, prioritization and selection, accelerate the development of Jecho’s drug candidates, together with the company’s senior leadership team, internal and external regulatory colleagues. • Demonstrating ability in proposing drug discovery and innovation would be a plus • Performing other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: • MD, MBBS or equivalent degree, with therapeutic product development and experiences across stages of clinical development. 2 • Minimum of 10 years' experience in pharmaceutical, biologics, or biotech R&D, regulatory, and/or clinical environment, or in a research environment involving the collection and analysis of human data in the area of cancer and infectious diseases. • Functional knowledge of concepts in immunology, biochemical, molecular biology, and biopharmaceutical developmental engineering, preferably with experiences in design and conduct of clinical trials under ICH guidelines. • Hands-on style with proven ability to work in an entrepreneurial environment and ability to manage and outsource work as required. • Experience with IND and BLA submissions including formal interactions with regulatory agencies is essential. • This role requires supervisory responsibilities. The candidate must demonstrate evidence of effective leadership skills and prior experience in leading a team/managing individuals. • Excellent personality, verbal and written communication skills. Understanding Chinese is a plus. • Ability to work cross-functionally.
