KEY RESULT AREAS: Identify, investigate, and implement solutions for continuous improvement projects to eliminate waste. Support manufacturing and quality to eliminate non-conformances. On site leader of Continuous Improvement initiatives. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Includes the following, other duties may be assigned. Analyze current processes and implement process improvements to reduce costs, improve throughput, and/or improve quality. Work with Customer Service and Applications Engineering to interpret customer and technical specifications, drawings, engineering instructions, and communicate requirements to Production. Continually assesses the effectiveness of current methods and procedures to help improve workflow and productivity. Work with Quality to analyze Complaint Reports and CAPA’s, perform Root Cause Analysis, and provide corrective actions. Assist in the development of safety procedures and policies throughout the site. Develop Validation protocols, including IQ, OQ, PQ, and work closely with Quality and Production to lead the executions. Use statistical methods to determine Sample Size, Acceptance Criteria, and other critical process variables. Create tooling and fixturing for use in production. Create and maintain standard production documentation including all types of drawings, with Work Instructions and Inspection documents, all with the focus on continued improvement, productivity, and quality. Capacity to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines. Work closely with team members (Planners, CS, Quality, etc.) to ensure products are coated in accordance of customer’s requirements (quality, on time delivery, special requirements, etc.). Analysis and presentation of data to senior management for review. Responsible for recruitment, reviews and personal development of team. REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited College. Must have CAD experience, preferably in Solidworks. Must have good verbal, written, and interpersonal skill. Working knowledge of ISO 13485 and total quality issues preferred.
