Job Description
Our client, a leading medical device company, is looking for a Quality Manager with solid Quality experience. Specifically, we are seeking an individual who is able to handle the following responsibilities:
1) Train, qualify and mentor personnel within QC department and Quality Technicians
2) Assign priorities and production output within QC Department
3) Organize and label within QC Department
4) Manage and report on product-related nonconformities, including but not limited to NCRs, RMAs, CARs, PARs and SCARs
5) Manage incoming verification, acceptance criteria and storage requirements of raw material and reports on supplier performance
6) Report the status and progress of quality output and nonconformance mitigation
7) Identify and assign investigation actions
8) Supervise assigned personnel in a manner that is conducive to a productive working environment
9) Ensure that areas of responsibility are clean, and safe and support a positive working environment for employees
10) Ensure all aspects of quality are adhered to and maintained
11) Participate in the recruitment process for assigned areas by interviewing potential candidates
12) Participate in employee reviews, disciplinary issues and escalation processes, as necessary
13) Maintain good communication, interpersonal and interdepartmental relationships
14) Respond to the dynamic needs of a fast-paced of company
15) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in quality management

Compensation and Other Details
