Human Resource Manager

Job Description


We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for the medical device industry. One of our clients is looking to add a strong Human Resource Manager to their team. Responsibilities include:


1) Work collaboratively with other members of the local HR Team

2) Support the administration of HR programs at assigned locations

3) Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations

4) Provide coaching and conflict resolution to managers and employees

5) Oversees employee disciplinary meetings

6) Participate in terminations and investigations of situations

7) Collaborate with the local HR team, manage communicable disease absences and return to work program as per federal, state and local rules and guidelines

8) Provide feedback and work closely with the Senior Director of HR on department needs and assist with improving processes and program

9) Participate in project-related work, as assigned

10) Manage the execution of the performance management process

11) Work with the Sr. Director of HR to create a strategy to address current and future talent needs, retention and succession planning

12) Lead the local non-DL recruitment process by working with Hiring Manager to develop and review the job descriptions, coordinate job postings, review resumes, perform reference checks, telephone interviews and offer process

13) Manage new hire onboarding and orientation process for all non-DL positions

14) Administer termination process and complete exit interview process for all non-DL employees

15) Produce headcount report and other reports as needed, using the HRIS reporting system

16) Work with the Sr. Director of HR to assess training needs and create an annual training and development plan

17) Maintain up-to-date job descriptions and organization charts for release and distribution by Quality Systems Department

18) Serve as back-up to other HR team members


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in human resource management

Compensation and Other Details


Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
