1) Perform routine maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting of mass spectrometers to keep instruments delivering high-quality data
2) Characterize protein-small molecule complexes to support screening of covalent small molecules and determine rates of engagement
3) Perform optimization of liquid chromatography to obtain robust and high quality spectra of purified protein, peptides and small molecules
4) Be familiar with protein characterization to support biochemistry and structural biology
5) Maintain safe and efficient procedures in the laboratory
6) Perform a wide variety of assays, tests and studies of non-routine nature
7) Provide instruction and training to interns, residents and medical students
8) Comply witht the company’s policies and procedures
9) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the biotechnology industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in research and development

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
