Job Description
Our client, a leading research company, is currently seeking an accomplished Clinical Rater to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:
1) Administer clinical efficacy scales on subjects with various diagnoses
2) Gather information from prospective subjects through a prescreening interview and determine eligibility for research trials.
3) Submit accurate data utilizing GCP and identify scoring conventions
4) Work with the company’s principal investigators and coordinator in initiating assessments and assist them with data query completion and data clarification
5) Assist in maintaining site specified levels of recruitment
6) Interact with sponsors, study and medical monitors from pharmaceutical companies in a professional manner
7) Follow Sponsor, or protocol, specific requirements and applicable company’s internal SOPs
8) Utilize technology required to conduct remote assessments
9) Review all medical records
10) Manage subject crises with professionalism and clinical expertise
11) Attend all required investigator and internal company meetings
12) Complete all sponsor-assigned training through web portals and meetings to obtain rater certification on specified scales
13) Participate in monthly rater meetings, ongoing rater calibration and training
14) Perform other duties as assigned
Critical Requirements
1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field
2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)
3) Recent experience in the research industry is strongly preferred
4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in clinical rating

Compensation and Other Details
Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
