Job Description


Our client, a leading research company, is currently seeking an accomplished Clinical Rater to join the team. Here is an overview of the role:


1) Administer clinical efficacy scales on subjects with various diagnoses, such as ADHD, alzheimer’s disease, bipolar disorder, major depressive disorder, substance use disorders and schizophrenia

2) Perform diagnostic evaluations

3) Gather information from prospective subjects through a pre screening interview and determine eligibility for research trials

4) Submit accurate data utilizing GCPs and identify scoring conventions

5) Work with company’s Principal investigators and coordinators in initiating assessments and assist them with data query completion and data clarification

6) Assist in maintaining site specified levels of recruitment

7) Interact with sponsors, study and medical monitors from pharmaceutical companies in a professional manner

8) Follow sponsor and protocol, specific requirements and applicable company’s internal SOPs

9) Utilize technology required to conduct remote assessments

10) Review all medical records

11) Manage subject crises with professionalism and clinical expertise

12) Attend all required investigator meetings and internal company meetings

13) Complete all sponsor-assigned training through web-portals and meetings to obtain rater certification on specified scales

14) Participate in monthly rater meetings, ongoing rater calibration and training

15) Perform other duties as assigned


Critical Requirements


1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the research industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in clinical rating

Base Salary: Highly competitive package, commensurate with experience
