Job Description

Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking an ambitious Senior Clinical Data Manager to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include:

1) Work closely with Study Team members and partners to ensure that clinical data captured is complete, consistent and accurate

2) Participate in review of clinical protocols and amendments and use knowledge of protocol to coordinate the design and testing of data capture systems

3) Direct the development, management and execution of the study data management plan

4) Lead review teams to review data quality reports

5) Generate, resolve and track data queries to ensure the integrity of the clinical data with respect to data guidelines and protocol specifications

6) Generate routine tracking and reporting of study metrics, create tools and reports to aid in study management

7) Identify and resolve data management issues, in coordination with contract data management groups, as appropriate

8) Utilize programming skills and appropriate tools to extract, analyze and report data as required by study team members

9) Lead data locking efforts to ensure that study team members have executed according to the DMP toward the goal of achieving analysis-ready datasets

10) Ensure that documentation is maintained in a state of constant audit-readiness and filed in the trial master file

11) Collaborate with the team while developing and implementing data standards and SOPs

12) Direct the interaction with any Contract Data Management Group to ensure that data management tasks remain on target according to project timelines and budget

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in clinical data management

Compensation and Other Details
