Job Description

Our client, a leading medical device company, is currently seeking an ambitious Senior Manufacturing Engineer to help lead their team. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated candidate with a go-getter attitude and a drive to succeed. Responsibilities include:

1) Lead NPI builds to ensure a smooth transfer of knowledge to the Production Team and provide training to personnel on new products and processes, as necessary

2) Work within database systems to record and analyze test and fabrication data

3) Generate and maintain test and production work and instructions within a cloud-based platform

4) Engage with cross-functional Design Engineering teams to transition new products into manufacturing

5) Measure and inspect electromechanical components for form, fit and function and disposition of nonconforming product

6) Update and create manufacturing documentation which conform to quality system regulations and ISO standards

7) Research, specify and procure new equipment for existing and new processes

8) Design and construct tooling and fixtures for processes and modify existing production equipment, as needed

9) Write and execute installation, operational and performance qualifications, validations, design of experiment, process failure mode effects analysis and continuous improvement studies

10) Examine and implement Lean manufacturing techniques

11) Perform robust root cause analysis of production issues, implement appropriate containment and drive corrective action

Critical Requirements

1) A university degree is required. Although all candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply, preference will be given to those with degrees in a relevant field

2) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please)

3) Recent experience in the medical device industry is strongly preferred

4) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in manufacturing engineering

Compensation and Other Details
